Hi @lenasterg, this is unrelated but for some reason WP is being buggy and won’t let me start my own thread.

Is there a way to change the file size limit on uploads? I can’t seem to upload anything even 3mb in size. This feature would really improve the plugin, I think…

One small detail: although I changed the the plugin’s slug (permalink field on the page…yes, I’m an adventurer), I still see “BuddyDrive Files”/”Shared by Friends” when I am in my own profile’s BuddyDrive.

Also, if we could have the option to place the feeds on a separate group page (“News,” for example, instead of the Activity Feed) that would be amazing and way more flexible!

Thanks for always being so responsive and helpful, imath!! BDD is really great.

I agree that it would be great if enabling BDD were at least one of steps/options during the set-up of groups. Having to go in and enable it after the group is created is only slightly inconvenient, but looking forward to seeing the fix!

@imath, we’ve found the problem and it was the server: BuddyDrive doesn’t work on the Windows server. We’ve tested it on a Linux server (virtual server on a Mac) and it works fine, so we are now going to properly set up a full Linux server.

…or, even better, the option for users to “Share” their docs in the Activity Feeds (i.e. draw attention to it for other group members). How else can users notify others of new documents??

I did deactivate all other plugins besides BP but it still happens will all file types I try – jpg, png, xlsx, pdf. With pdf I can open the document, but the pages are all blank!

Yes, I saw your kind offer, and thank you. They are internal documents for my company and on our development server so I can’t give you access, but they are the file types listed above.

I understand that you can’t help much with only this vague information, but I just wondered if you had seen this problem before then maybe you could at least point us in the right direction as to where the problem could be…

If not, we’ll just keep trying on our end and keep you posted. Maybe it’s just our server. Thank you for your time @imath!

Thanks for the input guys. I’m really hoping to make this work for my organization too. It will be the perfect plugin if I can just get it working!

@imath, the files are being uploaded to the server just fine (we can access them directly on the server with no problem, in /wp-content/uploads/buddydrive/…) but on the front end everything is corrupted.

Do you think it might be a problem with conflicting plugins?? I don’t know much about servers but it must be something on the BP/BD end.
