Hi @gavinohanlon,
I mean when I access the site header through my WordPress dashboard. My theme provides a way for me to edit header scripts. I can remove the code for the 2008 pixel, but there is no code in this area for the 1645 pixel. Should there be?
The other sites do not have a pixel installed, so I wouldn’t expect to find one there. I only meant that I don’t think the other plugins are accidentally creating one.
I have three business accounts. Only one has a pixel, but the account and the pixels are disabled. I have not been able to reenable that account or delete it. That business was associated with the old domain. I’ve since closed that business.
On cycle7comms.com, I can’t test the pixel in an incognito window. All third party cookies are blocked.
Best,
AndyHi @gavinohanlon,
I haven’t been able to do all these troubleshooting steps yet. But I do notice that:- The page source contains scripts for the pixels ending in 2008 and 6745. But when I access the site header through the dashboard, it contains only the script for 2008.
- When I troubleshoot the 6745 pixel, Facebook shows me data for 2008. It does not seem to recognize the 6745 pixel.
I have two other sites running similar plugin sets but without an FB pixel, and neither one of those shows a pixel when I check them with Facebook Pixel Helper.
Yes, I cleared the WPFC cache. I can ask my site hosting provider to clear their cache as well.
Maybe I should just remove the 2008 script, uninstall Pixel Cat, then reinstall Pixel Cat. I have not used the pixel on this new domain, so there is no data worth saving.
I’m sorry it is taking so many tries to clear up this problem. Thanks for responding. I appreciate your help.
Best,
AndyHi @ gavinohanlon,
Pixel Cat says the pixel ending in 6745 is the Pixel ID. However, when I look at the code in the <head> section, I see the number ending in 2008.
I have no other Pixel plugin installed. I just cleared the site cache a few minutes ago.
When I check the site using Facebook Pixel Helper, it detects the pixel ending in 2008. When I troubleshoot and go to the Events Manager, it identifies this pixel as Andy Kubrin’s Pixel (that’s me).
I logged into the old site (speakbusinesscomm.com) late yesterday and deleted the pixel code from the header. I also removed the Pixel Cat plugin from that site.
What should I do about the mismatch between the Pixel Cat pixel ID and the number used in the header script on cycle7comms.com? Should I change one of them.
Thank you for your help.

In reply to: [Max Mega Menu] Panel background not updating consistentlyHi Tom,
Great, that fixed it. Actually, it fixed two problems, since I was also having trouble updating the footer color.
But I still need a caching plugin. What do you suggest? How can I get my caching plugin to play nice with Max Megamenu?
Thanks.

In reply to: [ShortPixel Image Optimizer - Optimize Images, Convert WebP & AVIF] Many 404sHi @sixaxis!
Thank you for checking in.
I’ll try the solution you propose. I can easily clear the plugin caches. I’m not sure how to clear a server cache, though. Can you advise?
The site does not have a CDN and is unlikely to need one since its audience is geographically concentrated.
I don’t think my browser cache is the issue. These errors are reported by a site crawler. The images also show up fine in my browser.
I wonder if this issue is caused by ShortPixel Adaptive Images. Perhaps I should restore the originals, deactivate Adaptive Images, then reoptimize. What do you think of this idea?
Thank you.@wfgerald
I am running the following:
WP 5.4.1
PHP 5.4
SQL 5.6.x
Do you need any more info?

In reply to: [Page scroll to id] Page scroll to id not respecting offset valueHi,
I enabled that link and saved the settings. I also recreated the link since the target text had changed. But I’m still getting the same result.

Thanks.

In reply to: [Raw HTML] WP is eating my codeI systematically deactivated _all_ of my plugins one by one, and I still can’t find that option. Also tried logging in and out of WP while they were deactivated, and it still didn’t appear.
I can’t find that option anywhere. I’ve tried using both Chrome and Safari to look at my dashboard, and it’s just not there.
Isn’t that strange.
Going to query some of the other forums.
Hi malihu,
Thanks. That fixed it.
Best,
AndySorry about that. It’s published now. The URL is https://speakbusinesscomm.com/content-marketing/auditing-content/.

In reply to: [Raw HTML] WP is eating my codeHi Janis,
In my dashboard, Settings -> Writing does not have an option for “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically.” In fact, I can’t find this option anywhere. (I’m on WP 5.1.)
I always log in as an Administrator. It’s not a multisite situation.
I have plugins like SiteOrigin, but I need them, so I can’t deactivate them permanently. This step might help in troubleshooting, however.
Will the Raw Pro plugin work with WP 5.1 and future WP versions?
Thanks.
AndyHi ampforwp,
The Search Console error referencesAMP-theme-1-190-37.jpg:
<amp-img src=”https://speakbusinesscomm.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/AMP-theme-1-190-37.jpg” width=”” height=”” alt=”Speak Business Communication” class=”amp-logo” layout=”responsive”>
I’m using the Design Three theme.
Thanks.
AndyHi @ampforwp,
I still can’t fix this issue. I have not enabled the General > Resize option. And the error messages all seem to reference AMP-theme-1-190-37.jpg, which is not in my library.
What file is AMP-theme-1-190-37.jpg? Is it something you supply with the plugin? Why do I need it?
Thanks.
Andy
