In reply to: [Heroic Table of Contents] HTML anchors added to automaticallySorry for the late reply. As this was on a live site I had to deactivate the plugin. It’s still live on this site:

Check the DOM for the paragraph under ‘Tekniset ominaisuudet’
I just removed the the HMTL anchor but it’s automatically replaced with:htoc-alla-n-et-latausaseman-t-ydelliset-tekniset-tiedot-jos-olet-ep-varma-jonkin-kohdan-merkityksest-voit-lukea-lis-sivustoltamme

In reply to: [Heroic Table of Contents] HTML anchors added to automaticallyShould be added that the ID added has no max length, so it will contain the entire paragraph unless edited manually (which would require setting a unique ID for each paragraph which is ofc pointless)
Bug results in a unncessary big DOM + poor SEO optimization.
We disabled ALL plugins and started from scratch installing only the core plugins
WPML Multilingual CMS: by OnTheGoSystems – 4.1.4
WooCommerce Multilingual: by OnTheGoSystems – 4.3.7
WooCommerce: by Automattic – 3.5.4
WPML String Translation: by OnTheGoSystems – 2.9.2
WPML Translation Management: by OnTheGoSystems – 2.7.3
+Premmerce WooCommerce Permalink Manager: by premmerce – 2.1.5Once adding Premmerce, the base product-category is removed but the problem persists. 404’s in one of the languages.
We also tried with the twentyfourteen.
The issue persists.Earlier update

We’ve been talking with Kinsta (our host) the past couple of hours and they have taken a look.
“The only automatic process I can think of it wp-cron. Its running every couple of minutes, and may override those permalink settings when you make them. “
https://fineshelf.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/kinsta-wp-cron-screenshot.png
“That sounds like maybe the permalink manager plugin isn’t realizing there is a translation available to use.
You may want to run the issue by Premmerce’s support and see if they know anything to check. Database values, settings, flat file configuations, paths, anything really. “
What do you reckon?
—We also found that in some instances, trying to reach a URI under the /no/ directory – it returns the norwegian page (that otherwise is 404 with it’s own correct URI)
Don’t know if above is simply the logic of WPML. We’ll update this in the WPML thread as well.
We haven’t managed to reproduce it yet. Will spend the day on it tomorrow as well. Will give an update here during the course of tomorrow. Would giving you a login so you can have a look be an option? If so, I’ll add you on slack. Help would be greatly appreciated as we’ve been trying to tackle this issue for 2 weeks now on our live site.
Hi Premmerce,
Thanks for the prompt reply.
Here’s the WPML thread: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/product-category-slug-removal-works-in-one-language-only/We’ve tried to disable pretty much all plugins. I’m happy to try anything else you might suggest.
