I don’t know much about Pinterest, but it seems to only be a social networks about video and images.

How do you see the implementation in WordSocial ?

Actually, if you checked “Featured image” in the settings. You can only use it for pushing the image on facebook. On the other hand, if you use the custom field, you can only use that field.
You can’t use both in the same time (unless you change the settings before updating a post :/).

If it’s already what you do, maybe you can find a way to reproduce it ? Maybe it’s only with some type of image ? jpeg, png or anything ? Because it’s a bit weird if sometines it works and sometimes it doesn’t if everything is well configured ??

I think I figured out the problem…

Do you use WordPress with the revisions disabled ? That should explains that issue. I have the same thing on my blog because the revisions are disabled.

And like you said, the posts are not published on the social networks anymore.

But in my local blog (for testing), the revisions are enabled and everything works. So that’s the reason why I didn’t have the issue before I pushed the version 0.5.3 :s I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

If I’m correct and this is the only issue, I could make a fix pretty quickly for this. (I don’t have time right now but I’ll try to do it tomorrow).

Could you confirm me that you have revisions disabled ?

Actually, I just noticed that even on my blog it doesn’t seem to work anymore (with normal and scheduled posts) ??

I don’t know why because it worked with my test blogs :s I’ll take a look tonight.

Argh yes you’re right :s I fixed a bug and I introduced another one :-/ Really need to do more tests before releasing the versions ??

Actually, when you selected an other shortener, it goes back to wso.li only if the selected fails. So maybe there are something wrong. But before to take some time to find the bug, I just have a question for you :

Do you use the initial bit.ly (which uses my initial account, so https://w.wso.li), or the bit.ly with your login/key ?

Maybe you use the first one and didn’t notice the difference ? w.wso.li versus wso.li ? ??

Your server doesn’t allow the way I use to get the short url for a blog post. I’ll try to find another way to fix that.

You can use another shortening method than bit.ly, maybe it will fix temporarily that issue.

Could you give me more info ? When you publish the content, how many checkboxes do you check to push it on the social networks ?

Oh you’re right. I introduce that bug. I’m fixing it and submitting a new version in a few hours.

The field box after the checkbox is there if you want to add a phrase or a comment to your publication on the social network.

About the errors, it happens when you’ve enable to use the tags as #hastags in Twitter and try to publish a post without tags. It will be fixed in 0.5.3 ??
