I am so lost on this. I have tried so many different ways, stripping the category from the link, naming the slugs to point to my custom page. I caught it to work for few seconds and then on the next refresh, it was going page to category page.

Looks like something it redirecting it and I cannot figure out what it is.

I am even using category plug in on the sidebar.

It was more than the design. My header image wasn’t showing nor my styling (like shades around boxes)

I have upgraded to IE10 and all is perfect so not sure what the issue was in IE8.

Thanks so much for looking into it! I have IE8 so I guess it’s not responsive for earlier versions. Is that something I can fix?

Also, do you see my header image in IE8? In fact lots of formatting (like shadows around forms) are not applied in IE8. Is that typical?

You will need to upload your own image, under Appearance>Header. Best way is to have an image the exact size of the header area, 1140 x 320 and choose not to crop it.

There are imbedded items in the header, like text and search field. Un-check the “Show header text with your image.” under the header section. To remove the rest, add this to your child theme style sheet.

If you see on my site, clicking on the category icons or the meta category links, it goes to category page but I would like for it to go to my custom page, per the navigation menu.
