I gave that a shot. I disabled both the autofill and cleared everything from the browser. Of course, I had to log into the site again, and when I checked the media library, it still auto-filled my login name. I checked other sections of the admin area where they were search boxes and still nothing happens in them. This is only the media library.

I have a feeling that I will just have to cope with this issue and if I need to edit in there I will use explorer or firefox.

Since this is so isolated to one spot, it really boggles my mind.

It is definitely something to do with Chrome, but the strange part is it only happens in the media library and it just happened when I re-authenticated my google search console.

I clear my cache and history regularly because I work on several other websites, but it does not help the problem and it is only specific to the one page which is even odder.

It is curious why this only happens in the library and not my posts or pages sections. Or anywhere else for that matter.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
