having the same issue with the thumbs: they are only shown when i’m logged in the backend, tried that in firefox, internet explorer and chrome. it happens with the “super recent posts” plugin as well.

this url is generated and gives me an 403:

well, i found it to be a problem with the absolute path/url in the address! when using the relative path:

thumbs display just fine! so how can we fix this?

so you did let “better wp security” change your database prefix? bad…
did break for me a few times at well, because it changes the database prefix, but doesn’t update the wp-config.php with the new prefix, you have to do it by hand!

so check out the new database prefix (have a look in phpmyadmin or similar tool) and enter this into the wp-config.php at line “$table_prefix = ‘wp_’;” instead oh “wp_”, that should do the trick!

ok, problem solved: the pinterest button only shows up, when there is a picture attached to the page/post…

well, after updating to wp 3.4.1 and deleting and reinstalling the plugin it works again…

i deleted all the wp-files, just kept some clean directories in wp-content (images & stuff) and wp-config.php & .htaccess, copied all the files from a clean & updated (local) mirror of the site, deactivated the 2 previously infected plugins, changed some stuff in .htaccess, changed some of the keys in wp-config.php.

did occure twice since yesterday, the last time about 5 mins after activating the 2click-social media plugin, but not anymore after deactivating these 2 “suspicious” plugins, all clean till now *fingerscrossed*

which theme are you using, which plugins installed/infected?

ok, it is fixed, i’m using a child theme and was overriding some styles which have changed with the update

i’m usign the CodeStyling Localization plugin for editing language files from within wp, but i too have a problem: inspite of being translated to german, the phrase “Get new password” still shows up in english, all the rest is german as needed, pls fix this!

ok sorry, i found these strings, they belong to the wordpress core, to be more precise:

Please enter your username or email address. You will receive a link to create a new password via email.

belongs to wp-login.php and

We send your registration email to this address. (Double-check your email address before continuing.)

can be found in wp-signup.php

these strings are all translated in the german language file, strange that these will be displayed in english on my german blog while all the rest of wordpress is in german, but this problem doesn’t seem not to be connected to your plugin, does it?

ah, i see, the strings differ! i found this and this “bug” is still in the class-theme-my-login-template.php

hmm, i just checked it with poedit, but i can’t find the strings “create a new password via email” or “We send your registration email to this address”, where do they come from?
