I am having the same issues, but reinstalling the plugin hasn’t helped. In the preview of the header (in Appearance>Header) it displays the site title/description over the header image, despite deselecting “Show Header Text”. When I uncheck “Show Header Text it then rechecks the box every time I save it and in all cases, I am unable to see the header image on the site.
Any help is much appreciated!
