Check that your THEME is not blocking comments on posts. This is what caused my problem. The THEME can override any page or site specific settings.

Ok, problem solved. I understand why some people probably didn’t come back to you, because it is embarrassing. ??

I am using Trim from Elegant Themes. They have confusing wording in their theme admin section, where they talk about “Post Pages”, instead of just Posts. My theme blocked comments on pages even though I had it switched on via the Page Edit options. I have now switched it on under “Single Page Layout” options and it is working.

Sorry for making you stress unnecessarily. The plugin is now working fine perfectly except for the duplicate “Comment” box.

Problem solved. Will give you the answer on the other thread you mention above.

Ok, I am stuck on Point 1. I can’t add comments to a Page even after allowing it on Page Editing.

I will do so. I just upgraded to WordPress 3.5 and it has broken my Admin section. I can’t properly edit pages.

What I have noticed is that comments are not appearing below pages, but they do appear below posts (and without the “/n”). This might be a theme issue but I can’t check until the WordPress thing gets fixed.

The only problem with putting the Guesbook on a post, is that it creates “Reply” box duplication.

I will keep you up to date of any new development.

Upgrading is one thing. Actually working on the upgraded website is another. I already “lost” one website due to the upgrade. And before you say that I have to look at my plugins, I just installed a fresh WordPress with 2 plugins, one being Akismet and the other upload+.

I went to options to change my time and my site crashed. This kind of thing has never in my history with WordPress happpened before and I have been using it since version 1.5. This is seriously the worse upgrade ever.

I get the following notice:
Notice: Undefined index: path in /home/ajkcoza/public_html/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 25

I get the same issues with this particular theme and non with any other theme. It is adding the url from the main menu’s to any sub category page’s url, when you click on that link from a sub category page.

So if I am on hello.com/peter/ and I want to click on the about page, it changes the url to hello.com/peter/about/ instead of going to hello.com/about/

My host do have both. Do you maybe have a link for the forum? Do you know if the current CPanel release contains WordPress 2.3? Because I couldn’t find proof of that.
