In reply to: HTTP 500 – Site isn't loadingI have the latest versions of the browsers
Could be a local issue. I crawled the site using screaming frog tool and none of the URLs have status codes of 500.
Yet as I am typing I can’t view my site on Firefox
and this URL on chrome:
https://www.chooseheadphones.co.uk/jaybird-earphones/bluebuds-x-review/

In reply to: HTTP 500 – Site isn't loadingI cleared cache/cookies etc and most of the site is working
However a few pages arent e.g.
https://www.chooseheadphones.co.uk/jaybird-earphones/x2-earbuds-review/
The header is also different on these pages compared to the homepage

In reply to: HTTP 500 – Site isn't loadingHi Jose!
Thanks for your reply.
It works fine on Chrome (although something has happened to the design of my header? Didn’t make any changes to it – it looks really weird now)
The site doesn’t load on firefox, do you perhaps know why?
Pagespeed insights as well indicate the sight is very fast on Chrome 83 and 93 scores. Whereas on firefox it performs poorly
Thanks

In reply to: 123-Reg Setup Hosting CGI Script ConfusionYes this is occuring on all browsers
Tried a different PC as well and the same situation
https://www.chooseheadphones.co.uk
redirects to
https://www.chooseheadphones.co.uk

In reply to: 123-Reg Setup Hosting CGI Script ConfusionOkay so that initial issue seems to have resolved since yesterday
However, now I am receiving a message that :
“The owner of https://www.chooseheadphones.co.uk has configured their web site improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this web site.
This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate.”
I am not using SSL, is there a way to stop accessing my site via https? Even when I type in http it redirects to https
the wp-config.php does not have any code relating to ssl in it.
Tried adding:
“define( ‘FORCE_SSL_LOGIN’, false );
define( ‘FORCE_SSL_ADMIN’, false );”But that didn’t work either

In reply to: 123-Reg Setup Hosting CGI Script ConfusionInteresting. Yeah I dont see those.
I’ve tried clearing my cache, tried a different browser and tried different PCs.
Not sure what’s going on!
I contacted 123-reg and they suggested waiting 24 hours for the IP cache to clear or something along those lines.
Could that be it?
Also – I’m worried that because I’m making changes to the site by accessing it through a proxy that I will have to redo the changes once I can access it without it – is that the case?

In reply to: 123-Reg Setup Hosting CGI Script ConfusionHi Bdbrown,
Thanks for your reply.
The issue is is that if I click this link for my site: https://www.chooseheadphones.co.uk/wp-admin/install.php
Or just go to https://www.chooseheadphones.co.uk
I get redirected to wordpress.com (see previous post link for screenshot). I’m not sure why this is happening and I am definitely not seeing what you’re seeing! ??

This is strange…I’m still seeing the WP page rather than my site.
I’ve tried clearing cache as well.

In reply to: 123-Reg Setup Hosting CGI Script ConfusionHi bdbrown,
Thanks for your reply.
I’ve just removed the database from the Wampserver so I can use the one on my host. (123 reg)
According to 123-reg, I need to complete the installation:
https://www.chooseheadphones.co.uk/wp-admin/install.php
But when I follow that link, it takes me to a WP page stating the domain doesnt exist.
Any ideas? :s
EDIT: I’ve completed the installation using a proxy. However, accessing the site without it still presents the same issue (seeing WP page stating domain doesnt exist)
