I’m also trying do something similar. I only want the thumb and excerpt to show. Right now the Title, Thumb and excerpt are showing.

I want to manually put the title in the excerpt so that I can mark it with microdata. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

Regarding setting up multiple slideshows with different dimensions–can you make a quick video for us on how to do that? If not, no big deal because this plugin rocks.

Okay, the problem is fixed. I had an <em>tag on my home page. Once I added the missing </em> tag the sidebar-text widget problem went away.
