Never mind. This is what happens when I don’t pay attention to my own code. Was using the wrong taxonomy slug.

Thanks. Thought that might be the case. Thought there might be a chance to intercept the final output and apply a regex to replace the tags before wordpress sent it out.

Never mind….

It appears I need to run the $content through html_entity_decode. The “&” was now “&#038”

I don’t see any errors messages at all. WordPress just stops hitting the server and refreshing in the middle of the backup.

I went back to the remedy from the plugin website and I increased the delay time. The backup is now slow, but it works.

I don’t consider this fixed, but at least I have a workaround.

I can do that, but this is easier and worked up until very recently. When I upgrade to 3.1.3 it was fine.

I’m just using that very plugin. I’ve tried the recommended remedy on the author’s site and it doesn’t help.

There’s nothing at the domain root. And I have another WP 3.1 install at the same level (another sub-domain of paulmcelligott.com), on the same host, where the comments work fine.

If I reset my permalinks to default, I don’t even get my 404 page. I get the browser’s “broken link” screen.

I’ve already done the stuff with plugins and theme.
