Thanks Mike for your help. I did as you suggested and disabled all plugins, except the FB Photo Sync. There were two plugins that were causing problems:

Autoptimize
Optimises your website, concatenating the CSS and JavaScript code, and compressing it.
Version 2.1.0 | By Frank Goossens (futtta)

Stealth Publish
Prevent specified posts from being featured on the front page or in feeds, and from notifying external services of publication.
Version 2.6 | By Scott Reilly
