In reply to: [Fast Velocity Minify] Custom fonts not displaying on certain pageUpdate II: this has been fixed, and fairly simply too. As I guessed, it was because of the styling being in the PHP files and not a stylesheet – moving it to a file sheet, and then ignoring that CSS file (in the FVM settings) fixed this.

In reply to: [Fast Velocity Minify] Custom fonts not displaying on certain pageUpdate: after changing around a few things and moving all my changes to our live site (from the staging site), this error now only appears (on the live site) when CSS processing is enabled.
Everything involving fonts is actually done with CSS within PHP files (with the style tags of course), as opposed to simply in CSS files. Perhaps this is the issue?
You can see the live site at https://www.uniqueteambuilding.com.auMany thanks!

In reply to: [Fast Velocity Minify] Conflict with Advanced Custom Fields (Repeater Fields)Hi Raul,
I have fallen a bit behind on all this – but in all these updates being rolled out this issue has now been resolved just from these updates! Thanks very much.

In reply to: [Fast Velocity Minify] Conflict with Advanced Custom Fields (Repeater Fields)Hi Raul,
Thanks very much for this!
Unfortunately, this update has not helped with my error – so (as you say) I will go for debugging & manually try other configurations. Could you suggest how best to start with this?
And you obviously mentioned before about merging files being deprecated and no longer recommended anymore. This is news to me actually, I must have missed that on first read. Do you have any links to resources about this? Would love to read-up about this, I have spent a lot of time trying to combine all these files… Oh well!
Thanks again for all this!
All the best.

In reply to: [Fast Velocity Minify] Conflict with Advanced Custom Fields (Repeater Fields)Hello,
Thanks again for the quick & detailed reply! Very helpful!
That does all make sense but is quite complex for me. I have tried to fix this with your resources, but not able to yet. I will, as you say, wait a couple of days and see what happens. Thank you muchly for this.
I guess the most interesting part of this is how this issue still prevails while all the processing settings are disabled, but the issue disappears when FVM is disabled.
All the best,

In reply to: [Fast Velocity Minify] Conflict with Advanced Custom Fields (Repeater Fields)Hi Raul,
Thanks so much for this! I apologise for the shallow explanation:
The issue is with the prev/next navigation of the hero slider (at the top of every page) and the repeater fields (at the bottom of every page).
Here is the hero slider https://i.postimg.cc/QdjHS7mS/Capture-1331.png – these prev/next controls should be arrows at each side of the slider. Please see https://www.uniqueteambuilding.com.au for how it looks without FMV enabled.
As for the repeater fields here is a screenshot https://i.postimg.cc/mgW6nL1m/Capture-1354.png – again please see https://www.uniqueteambuilding.com.au for how it looks without FMV enabled.
Hope this clarifies everything! Let me know if not.
As for the invalid image, I did not actually notice that – thanks for pointing it out.
All the best,

In reply to: [Fast Velocity Minify] google API font not loading after combining CSSThanks Raul!
The issue was that the Google Font was not loading, I was able to fix this by just downloaded the font and uploading it to my server and calling it there as opposed to the Google API.
Thanks for the explanation eitherway!
Hi @robosoft
Thanks for this, I have changed these settings accordingly In the gallery settings and also added the code to custom.css (I’m assuming this is the “some CSS file” you mention?) and there has been no effect on the site.
I have made sure to refresh everything, reload the galleries, and deactivate & reactivate the plugin before testing this too.
Before getting this reply, I had already raised 2 tickets at the robogallery support (one on the 24th Feb and another on 10th March). Neither of these has a reply yet.
Look forward to your reply!
Hello!
Of course, here you go; https://pastebin.com/iBNt1xa9
These are all the logs entries made after simply enabling the plugin and refreshing the page.
Something else interesting if that when signed in to WordPress there is no such errors when viewing any page…Thanks very much & all the best!

In reply to: WordPress dashboard not displaying after upgradeHi James,
Thanks for that! I have already (via my hosting account’s control panel file manager) tried both of these prior to raising this issue and found that disabling the active theme fixes this. After doing this I was able to restore my WordPress version back to 5.2.4 and I then reactivated the theme (in order to have a working website). But I’d still like to use 5.6, and my staging site (which is a clone of the live site) is able to do this perfectly fine.
Hope this all makes sense!
Many thanks,

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Yoast seriously slowing down and crashing websiteHi,
Apologies, I did miss a couple of details on my latest reply. I have gotten past the error & memory exhausted message, I think this to do with updating to the latest version and changing some stuff in the config wizard. However, the latest available version for us 15.1.1?
Now the main issue is just the site speed when Yoast is enabled, this has been lessened a lot with the updates, but it is still a big issue – which is present even on default themes. Now the debug log only has nothing at all major, just PHP Notices.
As for the plugin requirements, I believe these are met (although I’m not certain about the MySQL version) and SEO Data Optimization has been used. This helped a bit, but the page speed is still not acceptable right now…

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Yoast seriously slowing down and crashing websiteHi Carl B,
Thanks a lot for that. However, after that, I’ve got no further with this, I couldn’t find any conflicts and uninstalling + reinstalling had no effect either – Yoast SEO still heavily impacts my site speed. Is there anything that can be done?
Very much appreciated!
Thank you
