In reply to: [JP Markdown] Missing HeaderFixed!
Problem:
Installing Jetpack Markdown using ‘Widgets -> Add New -> Upload’, and trying to activate it right from the “Plugin installed successfully” page causes a missing/invalid header error.
Installing Jetpack Markdown using any method does not cause any errors.
Activating Jetpack Markdown from the Plugins admin page does not cause any errors.Cause:
WordPress is reading the headers ofjetpack-markdown/markdown/easy-markdown.php
instead of (or before)jetpack-markdown/markdown.php
.Solution:
Make the header section ineasy-markdown.php
invalid to WordPress.Notes:
New downloads will have this issue fixed. I didn’t increment the version number to keep the convention (same version number as the original Jetpack). Thanks you everyone (and Gunnar Hellekson)

In reply to: [JP Omnisearch] need to search comments, and list commets in resultsFrom Jetpack Omnisearch support page:
Please note that the Search field on the WordPress Admin Bar will only Omnisearch from the back-end of your site, as the front-end already has a search field there to perform a site search natively, and we didn’t want to change that for you.
In other words, your visitors cannot use omnisearch.
I don’t know of another plugin that does such thing.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [JP Omnisearch] Notice: wp_style_is was called incorrectly.I’ve just updated the plugin, but without changing the version number. I don’t want to confuse users of Jetpack Omnisearch (version number must be the same as the original Jetpack version number).
Please download and reinstall to apply the fix.

In reply to: [JP Omnisearch] Notice: wp_style_is was called incorrectly.Fixed! I’ll update shortly.
It was not a conflict, but a mistake of mine. The message didn’t appear to me because I haven’t turned the
WP_DEBUG
flag on until now!Thank you Per Alm.

In reply to: [JP Omnisearch] need to search comments, and list commets in resultsHi,
First, I apologize for my late answer. I didn’t see your question until now. Must have missed it because this plugin hasn’t got a question for a long time, and I just found the subscription link for support topics! Didn’t know about it before! Now for your question, I added a comment “word word apple word word” to post in my localhost installation, and searched for “apple” from Jetpack Omnisearch page, and that comment was the first in the results!
Did I miss something?

In reply to: [JP Omnisearch] Notice: wp_style_is was called incorrectly. It’s probably a conflict with some other plugin.
I need more information:
- What is Your WordPress version?
- Does the message appear in admin area, or in the live site?
- What other plugins do you have activated?

In reply to: [JP Sharing] How to disable Jetpack plugin on pages with certain tagUnfortunately, you have to disable sharing buttons for every post or page.
Please keep in mind that even if there are no sharing buttons, visitors can still share your links (using copy/paste).You may submit a feature request on Jetpack support forums.

In reply to: [JP Widget Visibility] New category not in Visibility listI see.
Once you add a new category, it should show up in visibility options.
I forgot to mention that you should have at least one published post under newly created category for it to show up in visibility options.
It looks like you haven’t published any posts under those new categories.BTY: widget does NOT disappear, I used Show if instead of Hide if.
Can you tell me what the conditions are?
