Another point… which basically is the same as the first…. on my edit-form.advanced, i have two custom fields that are in their own category Location and Country… this is for a plug in… but i can’t get these two fields to save at all…. however if i go down to the normal place for Custom fields, i can select Location or Country and enter a value and it works fine… Ideas?

I definately appreciate all of your guys help… i’m definately new to this stuff and just kind of fumble my way through it… I’m getting some help starting over right now! thanks….

Here’s the deal, i personally like the way the flower goes over the header… Or at least I did… That flower is not going to be the final image used… it hangs down too low and covers up the “where’s ahren” link of the first post… which isn’t acceptable for me. But i did like how it sat on top of the header… and i do like how it hanges over into the post (as long as I can find a picture of mine i like enough that won’t interfere with the links…)
To tell you the truth, i’m not so found of the whole layout of the template i started with… I chose it because it was the only pure CSS one i found. There are a lot of things i’m not too pleased with but I’m more than likely going to have to stick to it so i don’t have to do the whole thing over again. Especially the index page… I have it down to the only css error’s i get are from how i have the UL’s setup…
I would definately prefer to get this site working with the format i have now, just because all the time i’ve put into it….
Wildthing, i sent you an email with my contact info…

whoever’s template i used to start my site must have misspelled the word wrap… i never typed that in, i started off a template…. ??

Podz, that’s becaues it was meant to be directed to anonymous…. sorry…

Oh and Podz… you say when you open it up, it’s just text… just so you know, thats all websites are…. they’re just a code that tells your browser (Firefox, Safari, Netscape, and (preferably not) Internet Explorer…. Go up to the top of your web browser and find the option that says VIEW SOURCE…. it’s under a drop down menu… thats all that a website is…. all you need to make a website is a text editor…. although programs like BBEdit or Dreamweaver make it a bit easier…

wow, thanks for that link… i tried installing apache by itself and got it to work, but could never figure out the whole php thing for it… that application looks like it should be pretty simple… so THANKS!!!
Podz, once you’re ready to put your site up online, shoot me an email… [email protected]

the “pinkish” image you speak of is a flower… it’s cut off on purpose… it’s not going to be the final image used there, i had a pretty yellow one, i was just playing around last night with different images there…
The screen shot you showed me shows the flower over the top of the header, which is how i wanted it… other than that, the grey boxes that extend out, are due to the Title Images plug in i am using… currently, the plugin uses a set width for ALL headers but the next version will not do this…. so the boxes won’t be there at all… they’ll be dynamic width and transparent background.
If you had IE, you would see the issue with the flower, and also all the other issues with IE that i needed help with…
    thanks though for replying.

Do you want this to be online for everyone to see? If you do, you need to first get a webhost… You should email me… i can provide you with webhosting and i’ll even set wordpress up for you for free… [email protected]
