The save button shows up in some instances, but not in others.
Because it might be easier to focus on something that’s not a custom post type, let’s instead try to replace the sidebar for the blog section of my site (I only have two instances where I need a sidebar – all blog-related pages and all woocommerce-related pages).
For most of the options in the drop-down menu, no save button appears. However, if you click “Posts,” the save button does appear. I also need this sidebar to appear on the blog category pages, so I choose “Categories” from the drop-down before hitting save. This is what it looks like at this point:

I then click the save button and it triggers a popup that says “conditions updated.” To see what has actually been saved, I refresh the page. It is still not saving anything from the dropdown menus, and the resulting page looks like this:

The front-end results are consistent – the new sidebar appears on the main blog index and individual posts, but does not show up on any category pages.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Page specific JS excludes, or plugin-specific expressions?AAHH it works! Haha I did not think the solution would be this easy!
Thank you so so much for your speedy responses and your help. I’ve never rated a plugin before, but I’m going to go rate yours right now!

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Page specific JS excludes, or plugin-specific expressions? Thanks! Do I just install the Snippets plugin you mentioned in another post to do this?
