In reply to: [Variation Swatches for WooCommerce] WooCommerce HPOS supportHello again. It looks like your plug-in is the only one that we are using that isn’t ready to support High Performance Order Storage (HPOS). WooCommerce indicates that with release 8.0, they will be ready to go with HPOS. I think they will begin to flag/disable plug-ins that don’t support this capability. This feature offers substantial performance improvements on WooCommerce sites, so I believe it will be very popular with site owners. Have you updated your plans for this capability? I don’t think your plug-in will require extensive changes to support HPOS based upon our experience with our own custom plug-ins. Please consider upgrading soon!

In reply to: [WooCommerce Address Book] HPOS support- Hi folks – an amazing plug-in, thank you. We have set up our staging site to support HPOS. Unfortunately your plug-in isn’t yet declared ready for HPOS. Do you have a timeline for testing/declaration for HPOS? We expect to have our testing done in a few days and will report back to you when completed.

In reply to: [Variation Swatches for WooCommerce] WooCommerce HPOS supportHello Mamunur, thank you for your quick response. Our initial testing of HPOS has gone well and we see the opportunity for significant improvements in performance and scalability. Our testing was however made a bit more difficult as a few important plug-ins have not migrated yet. We hope to hear that you will support HPOS soon.
We have tested and changed where necessary all of our custom modules and did not find the task too difficult. You can find more details on HPOS here. They provide a scan tool which highlights code which may need to be updated.
We hope you will be able to make the change soon.

In reply to: [Sequential Order Number for WooCommerce] WooCommerce HPOS supportWe have finished our testing of HPOS on our staging site. Of course, we had to do so without this plug-in. We are impressed with the performance improvement. We hope you will find the time to upgrade your plug-in to support HPOS. The folks at Automattic have a scan tool which quickly isolates areas where code changes may be required. We used it to resolve incompatibilities with our own custom plug-ins.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Unlimited number of stock to select after updateYes I can confirm that 7.5.0 does not fix the problem for Variation Products. I’m not sure why this is overlooked as it was tagged as high priority in Github. I believe it is a one line fix in Javascript – specifically in add-to-cart-variation.js.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Unlimited number of stock to select after updateGreat news – the update will be very welcome. Is there a policy on releasing a patch? Not sure of the timing of the fix. I made one attempt to roll back the French site and it didn’t go well. So I can either try again on the roll back, wait on the next release of WC or patch if one is made available. Please advise.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Unlimited number of stock to select after updateThank you for responding so quickly. You are correct – the add to cart inventory check works fine. So the bug is isolated to the JS/jQuery parsing the DOM wrt the div class=”quantity”. Looking forward to a fix.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Unlimited number of stock to select after updateThe github thread indicates that this is likely caused by a jQuery bug. The thread indicates that a WooCommerce developer is queued to review the thread and respond. I hope that they prioritize this fix as the 7.4.0 release is breaking sites with each install. And I think the fix is relatively easy. I hope they will release a 7.4.1 fix ASAP so we can get this resolved.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Unlimited number of stock to select after updatePlease allow me to correct myself. I though the French and English sites were both upgraded to 7.4. No, the English site is still at 7.3 and works fine. Early tomorrow I will change the French site back to 7.3 and hopefully it will work fine. I have added a comment to the Github thread as I believe this is a bug that urgently needs fixing.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Ordering variations no longer worksThere is a github issue raised that might be pointing at the problem we are experiencing:
https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/36855
Tonight I will roll back the French site to previous Woocommerce version to see if the difficulty reverses.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Ordering variations no longer worksYes – something odd is happening with order variations. But only on our French site not our English site. In our case, the variations are loading correctly but the quantity limits aren’t enforced. I am trying to understand if this is a Woocommerce problem (I think so) or another plug-in or theme is interfering. Still trying to debug. I also believe this happened after the last update.
I should add that we are using the Storefront theme.
