Thanks for the great plug-in. I too have encountered this problem. It looks like this challenge is due to a change in 6.7.0. to ensure that translations happen at the right time. Yes, there does seem to be an issue with Stripe. We checked both the webhook URL and secrets. They are correct on both sites. We just did a refund on the English site (successfully) and the transactions also appeared on the French site which were of course ignored as the transaction ID could not be found on the French site. So, we escalated the problem with Stripe. This should obviously be taken care of on their end. Thank you for your help.

Early this morning I uninstalled Stripe payments, then reinstalled it along with re-entering the credentials. I then ran some test order and all went well. Later in the day, I found some more troubling log entries on the French site:

I then did a search on the English site and bingo – these belong to the English site. I went back and and checked the credentials for both sites and they line up perfectly. So I will now go back to Stripe and see if they can help me understand why these transactions are being sent to the French site. I don’t see any issues with payment completion on the English site so it may well be that some transactions are being sent to both sites. I will investigate further.

Found the previous release on github. Tried to roll back but something went wrong so have now removed Stripe as a payment option on the French site for the time being. Will still do some more testing tomorrow morning to see if I can track down the issue. And hopefully I can successfully roll back to see if that solves the problem. Will let you know what I learn.

Went into maintenance mode and test mode on Stripe. Ran an order and it worked fine. Looks like this will be a bit difficult to track down. I think it wise to roll back the French site to 7.8.0. Where can I find earlier releases? Early tomorrow morning I will do some more test orders to see if I can generate the problem on a more repeatable basis.

Just talking to the Stripe folks. The errors seem to be isolated to the site as there are no errors on the Stripe side. Thought so but wanted to be sure. I think the problem may have manifested with the last update which I think was done about 5 days ago.

I will take the site offline and do a test order.

Decided to try dropping the HPOS table and restarting sync. It worked! Running in compatibility mode initially. Will go all in shortly.

Sorry – I was wrong. I didn’t look at phpMyAdmin correctly. There is one record missing in wp_wc_order_addresses when compared to the other 3 tables. I will look at the order more closely on wp_posts to see what went wrong. So this must be the point at which the schedule action terminated with the error condition stated above. Still quite mysterious to me.

I looked deeper into the HPOS db tables. I now see that wp_wc_order_meta is not completing the transition whereas the other tables are. So there is something odd either about the last order processed or the subsequent one that was about to be processed. I had a look at both orders in wp_postmeta and the records look fine. I will continue to examine the records. It is a bit hard for me to diagnose as the mapping of records in wp_postmeta -> wp_wc_order_meta is not a simple one of one translation. Any hints you could offer would be welcome.

we are restarting our adoption of HPOS after some difficulties with plug-ins. Our English web site synced order and has HPOS rolling now (although in compatibility mode to start with). The French version of our site (on a different subdomain) won’t however sync orders. The scheduled action to do the sync is failing with the following error:

The English and French sites are pretty much identical although the French site has LocoTranslate but lacks MultiCurrency. WP and WooCommerce are at identical across the two sites as 6.3.2 and 8.2.1. I welcome any suggestions as to what to do next to debug.

We disabled reCaptch and Contact Form CFDB7 to see if that made a difference. No. We are using theme Storefront and WP SuperCache. Will try to find a test window to check out default theme. Our test site processes forms quite quickly but it does not have a cache on it. Puzzling.

We are having the same difficulty. This is a WP/WooCommerce site and the submission is taking quite some time. Many customers think that something is going wrong so they hit the submit button again. This is new to us. We do also use reCaptcha so there could be an issue there. Going to do some testing to see if we can narrow it done a bit more.

The WooCommerce team plans their transition to HPOS for August in Release 8. We would like very much to use CURL (an excellent plug-in) on our site. Do you have a schedule for the support of HPOS?
