However, a second problem… the Autoptimize JS is now breaking in the admin scripts for logged-in users… Everything seems to work properly and there are no JS or PHP errors, but when logged in, all text on #wpadminbar fades out once Autoptimize loads its JS file.

I’m not sure yet if this is related to Autoptimize or a problem on my end… I will report back if I find out more.

This same issue is back in ver 1.6.6. I had to downgrade to 1.6.5.1 to get the client plugin to work.

Cool, taking out the parentheses worked for me for the time being.

Thanks, Frank. You may be right about the order of operations though I prefer to be explicit to avoid mistakes on my end. Are you saying that it preserves the whitespace if you leave out the parentheses?
