In reply to: [GigPress] Wordfence/TEC/Gigpress discontinued?Hey @ohliza
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for being a GigPress fan.
I would like to offer some clarification on how the export works in GigPress.
On the export page, if you select an artist and hit export, then it will not only export the artists. It will export ALL the gigs with all the details – including venue details – from the selected artist.
If you select an artist and a tour, then it’ll export ALL the gigs from that artist on that tour.
All the venue information will be available in those exports, which you can then use to import to The Events Calendar.
If you want to select all the gigs from a specific venue, that is not possible, that’s true, however, it’s an easy fix. If you want that option as well, the download the two files from the below link (
admin/import-export.php
andgigpress.php
) and overwrite them on your site.https://1drv.ms/f/s!Aqh6lbOjUW1ThMR98V5o0sHc31va6A?e=GLP22I
Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any further questions.
Cheers,

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] 6.0.13.1 brokenThank you for your reply @akxak .
Based on www.remarpro.com forum guidelines we are not allowed to provide support here, in the reviews section, so I would recommend following up with your issue in the thread you opened. Our support team responded to your initial question within a day, and we’re waiting for your response. We’re happy to continue the conversation there.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Noticeably slowHi @ahmetb
Thanks for your review here. I’m sorry to hear about your frustrations with The Events Calendar.
A lot of our customers happily use TEC in combination with the Avada theme. This combo should not have a major impact on speed. I would be happy to help you figure out what is happening in case you’re open to it as well. In this case please open a support thread here, or if you are a premium user, then here.
I’m also curious to hear what you find bloating in the plugin.
Thanks again and best,

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Becoming more and more bloatedHI @ultravibe ,
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review here.
The Action Scheduler is maintained by WooCommerce/Automattic and many plugins are making use of it.
As for The Events Calendar the Action Scheduler is only used when migrating events to the new data structure that was introduced in version 6.0. It is not currently used for any other tasks.
I would be happy to hear more about what you find bloating in The Events Calendar and what functionality you are looking for in your use case.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] 6.0.13.1 brokenHi @akxak ,
Sorry to hear about the breakage on your site. My guess is it had to do with the recent WordPress 6.2.1 release, specifically:
Block themes parsing shortcodes in user generated data
This was then – at least partially – fixed in WordPress 6.2.2. Updating WordPress should fix the issue.
Apart from this temporary glitch coming from WordPress how are you enjoying The Events Calendar? Does your rating reflect your overall experience as well? I would be curious to hear more!
Thanks and cheers,
AndrasThanks for leaving a review here, we really appreciate it! I’m glad to hear we were able to help you find the source of your issue.
Happy kayaking and stay safe!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Designed to get paid versionHi @caitanya
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review here. While we also provide support for the free version of The Events Calendar, due to our resources being limited, there is only so much we can do. However, some from the community might be able to help you out with this. Also, there are a number of free plugin addons for The Events Calendar here in the www.remarpro.com plugin repository, you might be able to find one which suits your use case
If there is a missing feature that you would like to see implemented in our plugins, then please, post your idea here.
Thanks,

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] AwfulHi @thollenberg
I’m really sorry to hear you had issues with the event migration. That’s a bummer. If you’re still up for it I’d be happy to take a look and help you with the migration.
I was searching for any support tickets from you but couldn’t find any. If you opened a ticket with our support team already, then please share with me the ticket ID. If you haven’t opened one yet, please do so.
In the meantime, in case you didn’t see this yet, we have an article helping to troubleshoot migration issues.
Looking forward to helping you get your events back.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Absolute garbageHi @billybidley
Sorry to hear you didn’t have a good experience with our plugin. Having to save an event 3 times to work does sound bad. I can assure you that is not how it’s intended to work. If you have opened a support ticket with us, please be so kind and share the ticket ID so I can take a look at your issue.
I would also be curious to see what “garbled nonsense” is being saved in the database for you, as that also doesn’t sound normal.
As for the 6.0 update which was released in September 2022, it introduced changes to how event data is stored resulting in better performance and opening the door for new features as well. You can read more details about it in this article.
If you can share the ticket ID, I’d love to help you get things sorted. If you didn’t open a support ticket yet, then you can do so here if you are a free user, or here if you have purchased a subscription to one of our products.
Cheers,

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Import not workingHi @panton439
Sorry to hear that the import is not working. Would love to help you get that sorted. If you can share the support ticket ID with me I’m happy to take a look. I wasn’t able to find anything in our system based on your username.
Also please note, that Events Calendar Pro doesn’t add any import enhancements to The Events Calendar. With TEC you can import CSV files. If you would like to import from different sources, like gCal, then you will need Event Aggregator.
Looking forward to helping you get back on track.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Poorly laid out and poorly formattedHi @ldekay
It seems like you’ve had some trouble with making our plugin work with Elementor. Sorry to hear about that. Did you try to reach out to our support team for help? We would be happy to take a look at what needs fixing and help you out. From your description I think a couple of them can be easily solved with some CSS rules.
If you’re open for help, please open a support thread and we’ll be glad to assist you.
Cheers,
Andras
