I’ve tested twice since the PHP upgrade and I’m still not getting the notifications via email.

@shanemorgan7 why would me not having MySQL v5.5 suddenly cause this plug in to stop functioning correctly a few months ago out of nowhere?

Any other ideas?

Godaddy is upgrading me to PHP version 5.4 right now, so I’ll try it again in an hour and test to see if that helped. I was on 5.3.

As for MySQL, I’m on 5.0, and they’re telling me that they can’t upgrade to 5.5. Is that an absolute necessity (MySQL v5.5) in order for the plugin to function as expected?

There’s no Disqus code in that file. It may be (was) in your footer.php file if one exists.

What does the Disqus code look like? It was placed in the page. php via the plugin before, so I don’t know what it looks like.

Sorry, I meant to say the “commented-out comment label is there, but the comment code is gone”.

Thanks for that feedback. The Disqus comment system is showing up on this blog post, but not on this page, so I’m assuming the code was removed from the page.php.

What do I need to enter in the page.php to get this to show up again? The comment is showing up showing where the comments are supposed to be, but the code is gone or misplaced.

Why are you using an old copy of WordPress? Were you aware that your site is currently running a very real risk of being hacked? You need to upgrade WordPress asap. As you have such an old version of WordPress, you will need to carry out a series of smaller manual upgrades. See Upgrading_WordPress_Extended for the full details.

I honestly haven’t had the time to deal with it, but I will look into it. As a business owner, it’s tough to keep up at times

What’s baffling to me, is that when I inspect it using Firebug, the section of CSS it jumps to in the style.css doesn’t mention the font color, and I’m unable to identify the correct section within that file.

Where did you find that code? That’s not in my style.css.

The Disqus comment box disappeared again, and I didn’t even make any additional changes to the page.php

I’m going to look into my Disqus account to see if that’s where the problem lies, but thought I’d post an update here in the event that it’s something in the code I’m missing.

Awesome! That got it showing up again at the TOP of the page, however what do I need to add to get it to show up at the end of the page again? Before I switched themes, it was showing up at both places.

I’m also noticing that the Disqus comment box is now gone.

Does anyone have any additional ideas as to why I’m unable to get the Phone Number field to show up on the Contact form?

I had to switch to a new theme. What do I need to add to the page.php of the new theme to get this working again?
