I got it to work..dont know why it’s working now but it’s fine, thank you all for the help!
I see what you’re saying, but what if I want it to look like this following screenshot of yours: https://monosnap.com/file/f5c46l9D8IeciWfjQCTFbC5SyvNcQf
I do want it to look stacked (as opposed to the inline option you just showed). The problem with the screenshot is that it is not full-width. You mentioned the below code earlier to make it full-width, but unfortunately that did not work for me with the way I want this to look (still shows white space on each side, as in your screenshot). S0 let me know if I can adjust this code somehow to make it work:
.hustle-ui.module_id_13 { position: absolute; width: 100vw; left: 0; } .entry-meta:nth-child(3){ margin-top: 300px !important; } .hustle-ui.module_id_13 .hustle-layout-body{ padding: 0 10% !important } @media screen and (max-width: 768px) { .entry-meta:nth-child(3){ margin-top: 400px !important; } }
Exported, link is here to gDrive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1YlJ9MlI99jDZo_AuTPBpJp24xUrDNZJb?usp=sharing
My PC that I viewed this on is 3840 x 2160.
Strange that that matters, I feel like resolution shouldn’t matter for this but just keep me updated.
I already tried clicking the option you’ve stated along with the CSS and it does not look like the screenshot, linked here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/agentrosehq/51931641389/in/dateposted-public/
It doesn’t make a difference whether I have that option selected or not, lmk what I can do because I don’t know why it’s not showing up like in yours.
FYI i am changing it back to the previous option for the time being so it looks better for live users, but during the screenshotted moment, I followed all directions.
I tried the code you sent under “Additional CSS”, but the same issue occurs – it doesn’t look like your screenshot on the live site – the left side is fine, but on the right side, there is no black border around the input fields (the input fields literally touch the browser scrollbar). It is visually uncomfortable, see screenshot:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/agentrosehq/51928029430/in/dateposted-public/Note that compared to your test version, my blog post has two columns. Not sure why yours shows only one column.
Tried switching to default like in your 2nd screenshot but that didn’t solve it either.
I pasted that code in to test it, but the problem with it now is that the entry fields are literally touching the side of the browser and it is hard to see. Is there a way to fix that or add padding to that side (and make sure it “looks good” at any desktop browser width)? Thanks

Have you tried the “Embed Size” option which allows setting custom width and height to the embed under the “Appearance” tab > Advanced > Embed Size?
What width should I use to guarantee full-width universally if I do that? I just tried using “default size” instead of “custom size” (was custom size), and the preview still doesn’t span full-width. I wonder if it’s because of my page’s theme settings because the width of the embed = the width of the text.
By default the Embed should automatically adjust to the width of the page, however, the example page which you have shared by default is full width, on the other hand, your page isn’t full width and consist of two sections ie the article and the sidebar.
That is strange because right now it is a box (and has always been a box for me), and has never naturally stretched to full-width, even within the section that it’s in in the example link I gave you.
So even if the width is increased is the Embed it’ll be within the width of the article. Could we know what exact design you are looking to achieve?
So for example, on the homepage, I want it to span full-width (there’s one on the homepage if you just scroll down). And on blog posts like the linked post, I’d want the same, and currently there’s the problem i described above, perhaps due to my theme’s bounding borders.
Is there a way to add it to the footer and see if that will make it span full-width? I don’t see a Hustle widget optoin to add the embed.
I also checked your website in Gtmetrix and got an “A” score which is amazing.
I actually plan to switch the homepage to what is currently in “BLOG” in the top nav. That page is what I am testing and it is getting a D score on GTMetrix, and like 43 in GooglePageSpeed for mobile, so ignore the results for the homepage. Do test the blog homepage & posts themselves as this is most critical (and where they’re slowest).
I do see you get a MISS in the caching https://monosnap.com/file/np2pILQneLhkDMJhWoUH6V3Q1Q08zJ so I suggest double checking if your caching plugin or imperva is well configured.
Is imperva the same thing as incapsula? I know my hosting company uses incapsula, should I contact htem about this?
Also, what is that testing site you used to send me that screenshot with the “MISS”? I’d like to try using that to test my cache plugin.
For example, you set the PopUp to trigger in a click button, but this should show only on the home page, in this case, we suggest adding the visibility rule too
I am confused, I already added visibility rules to have the popup show only on a few pages (using the “only these pages” under Visibililty), and it is set to trigger at 30% scroll under Behavior. I don’t know what you mean by a click button only showing on home page.

“with proper caching and optimisation there should be no impact” Could you clarify how I’d know if my caching is done correctly? I installed a plugin for that and pretty much just turned it on, but idk how effective this is..it didn’t really change my speed test results. FYI I do have an embed on my site’s homepage if you scroll down, if that matters.
The caching thing is also a suggested improvement on the speed test results, GTMetrix says my caching TTL is about 20 days on the Hustle urls…as I understand, whatever info is stored (idk what it is), is being stored for 20 days on my end? Is this slowing things down/should I change this somehow? Thanks
Even more important (according to GTM) is to “avoid chaining critical requests”, is there something I can do about this for Hustle?
Another question – say I have multiple Hustle things such as popups, embeds, etc on my entire site. But with regards to one blog page, say I only have an embed running. Will having popups on other pages slow down the blog page, simply because Hustle needs to recognize to “not load the popup asset” while the blog post loads?

that’s where I went, just downloaded one from the help page there and it had my headings skewed to the left, unlike how it was centered in my currently live theme.
Besides the logo mentioned in that link you sent, what else may need updates?
Because when I activated my child theme, it skewed my site – if it’s supposed to be an exact replica of my live GP theme, it’s not – some headings are shifted at first glance. Am I supposed to only use the child theme from now on? Because it doesn’t have the same look as the parent theme (currently live).
You also didnt’ answer this: “But I don’t know how/where to put the comments.php – the guide states to add it to the child theme’s folder. Am I supposed to activate the child theme first to access such a folder? And where do I find this folder/what is it called so I can nav to it and dump the php code into?”
Done, hope you got it.
“Are you using the Hustle block widget or a shortcode in the single blog post sidebar?”
^ I’m using the Hustle block widget. When on the production site:
I tried using a shortcode just now and neither that nor the block widget worked, fyi. Both showed on the blog main page’s sidebar, but disappeared from sidebar when clicking into a post. When on staging site:
I made both Display Options & Visibility have the same settings, and also tried to view the embed in the Twenty TwentyOne theme within a staging site (I don’t see a sidebar option but it went to the footer and it didn’t show there, not even in the blog homepage, unlike the production site), but I didn’t see anything (see screenshot in folder link, this is the screenshot for the widget). If you give me your email I can give you a user/password to access the staging site (do I just give you the staging URL? It’s supposedly https://agentrosehq.com/arhqstage1).
Lmk what to do from here.Folder for everything you need to ref, including the updated module so you can see changes: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1YlJ9MlI99jDZo_AuTPBpJp24xUrDNZJb?usp=sharing

Yes, I am referring to Appearance > Customize > widgets.
I updated the embed to show everywhere (except for the homepage which is my decision), and now it does show on the blog’s sidebar on the main page, but not when you click into an individual blog post. (FYI I only want it to show on the sidebar, I removed it from the footer).
gDrive link to module + a screenshot when you click into the most recent post can be found here (theme is not the issue):
