In reply to: style.css changes only displaying on some computersSorry about posting too much code. I know, I’m lazy and I should create a child css … I’m also an artist, not a programmer so … bear with me.
At any rate what I have tried to do is set some pages so the header image doesn’t show up on them. Did it on an old Mac and it worked. I could easily go back and remove it from the styles.css file … I’m not all willy nilly in there.
What I’m not understanding is how the css code can display differently on different computers. The code to remove the image from that page is there.

Intel based MacBook: Does not display correctly
Ipad 2: Does not display correctly
iPhone: Correctly
2 old Macs: Correctly
Old Gateway: Correctly????????

Ok, I guess I had a couple spaces in there that shouldn’t have been there. fixed now.

Anyone?

Why must everything be a blog post? For instance, I want to have a contact page with some static information. I don’t want to have a date showing when that info was “posted” nor have it appear on my main page … I just want to be able to put text on a page, without making a child and then hacking the code. I’m very frustrated with WordPress not allowing me to make basic changes easily, like removing the search box from the header.
