The second linked cracked the code! In my Settings > Media > The upload folder was miss labeled and should read wp-content/uploads.
Picture are back and now I can get back to work. Much appreciative of the knowledge!

Thank you for the video, but it doesnt address my issue.

The photos that are on my website’s media folder are listed as there but yes they seem to be corrupted. I am using a mac if that makes a difference.
