Ugh I just found SIDEBAR SIDE OF PAGE under LAYOUT SETTINGS. You Kadence people design themes too well! I always try to write CSS for things you guys have already accounted for…thanks!

Can you check the transparency for mobile background only? It doesn’t seem to be working when I check (and I went through the Theme Options again to make sure it’s not a setting that I missed!)

Hm neither seem to be working. The only plugins I’m using are the kadence toolkit, WP Add Custom CSS, and WP Subscribe. I have used both of those plugins with 2 other websites I have that also use the Kadence Ascend theme with no problem.

I commented out all other CSS I had just in case something I had done conflicted with what you gave me, and still no luck.

How did you get the site name, tagline, and social menu to appear constantly at the bottom of the webpage?

Unfortunately, I did. I deactivated everything except for Yoast and Woocommerce, and the plugin still wasn’t working. When I write a title/meta description, it saves the settings in the Yoast plugin but doesn’t show up on facebook/google. I went through a bunch of Yoast’s blog posts to read about instances where google changes the title for you, proper formulas, etc, still no luck. Not sure what’s going on.

Thanks so much for your response. I’ve already been through the Yoast documentationa and have actually been having problems with the YOAST plugin after the last update (it’s not working at all, already waiting for help in their support forum) so I might have to go with another SEO plugin.

Anyways is there any other way to change the name of my Shop page besides through an SEO plugin?

Sidenote: I just downloaded WC Vendors to use with Ascend. I LOVE IT! I have tried other themes and they weren’t as compatible with the plugin.

Thanks so much for your help, I truly appreciate! I actually switched themes, I’m using Ascend, which was much easier for me, it was more what I was looking for than Pinnacle, so I needed less customization.

Anyways Kadence themes and support never disappoint!

I cleared my cache again, and I’m still having the same problem: the images are not hard cropped to be the same size. What can I do?

Update:

The blog is back in grid format (no idea how or why, I haven’t changed anything) but now the hard crop to make the images the same size is not working…I checked that it’s enabled in blog options…I went through my plugins one by one to see if any of them are interfering and can’t find a culprit.
