have you updated the onClick event inside those side bar links? The new system does not seem to get data from the last gen onClick.

Turns out it was the other html tags that were causing issues. The validator just stops at p. ??

I’m going to see about using custom fields instead of $post_excerpt

there’s a php doc in /wp-includes/ (root dir) called default-functions.php open it in your favorite TEXT EDITOR (not word, or anything that adds formatting of any kind.) and search for auto, and they should all come up. Just be sure to READ what it is you’re commenting out.

Be sure to make a back up, before you do anything. ??

I would not recommend using a plug-in for this.

There is a file in /wp-includes/ called default-filters.php

In that file you can comment out the auto-p in the various parts of your install.

Maybe a moderator can confirm.
I really don’t think adding a plug-in will solve anything.

This is still occuring.
It’s duplicate links that are about 1px high.

Try extending the amount of memory alloted to PHP from (what ever it is, probably 16M) to 32M or 64M (it’s probably not much if your server has a gig or ram… don’t be stingy!)

Just be ready to handle all the issues that come with the ability to change your permalinks.

I’m still having terrible trouble with permalinks even after 8 months of daily WP use. It’s probably the least stable feature.

Also, this does not seem to have anything to do with Permalinks. FYI.

You’ll need to find a php file called ‘index.php’ in your theme directory (if autofokus is anywhere near typical) open that up, and you’ll see (among other things) the image’s contained inside <img src tags. what you want to do is add a <img src=”image-in-question.jpg”>)

Also, i am using the custom taxonomy plug-in. so maybe it is a little plug in related. :X

When i click on them, they are like the bottom 3 categories which are show, but have the ‘cloud’ type thing called “popular tags” where “add a new ____ ” is on the normal ones.

I just wish we could put multiple comma delimited email addresses on that one line. That’d simplify things.
