Everything works. However still the black is not cancelling out the #ccc set by black.css the background is still grey for some weird reason.

I can assure you that the code has been added to the custom css file in my child theme and also in the plugin you suggested.

What i would like my finished navigation bar to look like would be that when the tab is active it has the blue bar underneath it. Black background to blend in with the background colour and the purple text. All other non active tabs text colour as white.

When you hover over a page instead of the grey background i would like that to be black like the background and have the text change to the purple as you hover over the tab.

I had this working not so long ago. Then all of a sudden it started to pull css code from a file called black.css

the site link is the navigation bar underneath the heading the main colour problem i am having is that the background it set to grey when i want to change it to one of my own colours. so i can have the nav bar in line with the company colours which are taken from the logo.

Instead the grey should be the same colour as the background so that the only thing you notice on an active page is the border line underneath it. etc.

Yes see our product has a cost price we then have a shipping price for the item and then the variation is for which type of install you want and we would like to add an additional cost price for the installation i hope this clears this up im sorry if i confused you
