In reply to: [Participants Database] Edit records after uploading csv fileOne of my questions was solved by a closer inspection of the page. I was so busy looking for a link for updates that I missed the pencil next to the name of members on the list. I guess you can miss the forest for looking at the trees.
I still would like the officers of the organization to be able to update the member pages using the pdb_record short code.
Thanks. I finally copied the entire HTML into word and then copied the form part into the plugin. It works. Not sure why it would not allow to copy a portion of HTML in the site but this workaround did the trick

I deactivated WP members and now the events show the detail. Thanks for your help
i have the following plugin running on this website.
Custom WP login
WP Access Control
Hide/Unhide Menu for guest/member
Webriti custom login
WP-Memberswould any of these cause any conflict?
and as a update, it looks like when i put ANY text in the text box for the IMAGE widget causes the EVENT listing to show in the text spot of the image widget.
I have discarded the text and the image looks fine in the sidebar.
thanks for your help. There is some kind of glitch in the coding.

Ok, so I looked closer and the IMAGE widget I used had the second EVENT listing on that page. I removed this IMAGE widget from the sidebar and the double events listing disappeared.

So, I changed from the 2014 theme to the 2012 them and it did get rid of extra EVENT TABLE on the right side.
That’s the good news. the bad news is that theme does not work for me.
How can we correct the coding in the 2014?
albert
I thought the 2014 theme in WP was a Default theme. That is why i picked it.
I did not change defaults (except not to display google maps).

also, the other part of the Events Manager that is confusing me is that unless you are signed into the site, you can not see the details of the event.
Event manager lets you see the event and link. Once you click on link, the events says: This content is restricted to site members. New users may register below.
I did not set that up in the system.
I would like all visitors to see the DETAILS of the event.

here is link to my site asalhtampabay.org
I did not add to the sidebar. That is the confusing part (for me).
I put my events into the default page EVENTS. When I view it, i get a table in the body of the page and then in the right side bar is the same table.
I tried to open EVENTS page and edit thinking it had a widget but do not see one.
I am confused.
