@rsids: I’ve just checked it on my local installation (WordPress 4.1.1 + File Gallery 1.8.3) and everything’s working fine, no errors.

Any chance some other plugin is the culprit here? The error means that the WP javascript core library hasn’t been loaded.

I will, however, update my plugin with better handling of this situation, so no error is ever thrown.

@david Perroud: in which folder are you placing your templates?

@codynew: I tested it locally today and everything works just fine. All new pictures have been transferred to S3 upon upload, and File Gallery displays them just fine.

Could you tell me what shortcode you are using?

Try disabling File Gallery and see if the images show up on the front end then.

@li-an: a quick fix is in v1.8.3. I’ll see if I can finally finish v2.0 these days…

@redeclipse: are you talking about WordPress admin or the site itself?

yeah, it should be visible on big screens without any problems ??

nevertheless, in the next version, the button will be shown on the left-side menu, so it works better on smaller resolutions.

@codynew: depends on your setup. File Gallery works with WordPress attachments, so if you’re using a plugin to offload your images to Amazon S3, I think that should work just fine.

Please let me know how you’re thinking of handling the move so I can test it ??

actually, there was a bug in 1.7.9.6 that would cause that, but I’m pretty sure that I’ve fixed it in 1.7.9.8 :/

I’ll be releasing 1.8 tomorrow, for 4.1 compatibility, and that version definitely doesn’t have this bug.

@msnoval: thanks for noticing that! It happens on smaller screens only, but it’s a bug, nevertheless. I’ll fix it right now and push a new version out.
