My website is completely broken due to this plugin not being updated to be compatible with the past couple versions of WordPress and has caused me to have no choice but to start planning the enormous undertaking of completely redesigning my entire website, because of this ONE plugin. I have sought support here as well as with the author directly and I have not received a single reply. One thing is for sure, my new website will most definitely

be driven by WordPress, nor would I ever recommend WordPress again to anyone whose livelihood is dependent upon their website! WordPress users are not only completely vulnerable to being hacked, but also at the mercy of way too many people with the enormous amount of plugins, which need to be used with it!
Goodbye WordPress/Hello HTML5!

In reply to: How To Add Meta Tags To Blog Page? This still has me baffled… I tried adding meta tags directly in my page_blog.php file and they won’t even show up when I view the page. It makes absolutely no sense to me why something so essential like this would be an issue. I mean, What do people do, who only use WordPress for a blog, as it was intended? Do they not have meta tags on their homepages? The most important page of their whole site?
Can’t someone please tell me how to do this?

In reply to: Ultimate Tinymce Broken – PLEASE HELP*UPDATE* Well, I just ended up installing a different line break plugin and hacked it, so instead of the short code being [br] it’s [break] instead. So, at least THAT problem is solved.
Still hoping someone can help me out with my Ultimate Tinymce issue, though…
Thanks.

In reply to: Ultimate Tinymce Broken – PLEASE HELPWOW! Just figures how the moment my new site goes live, all kinds of technical problems break loose! >8>( I just realized that as a result of Ultimate Tinymce not working my line break short codes aren’t working now either. So, now I have all kinds of short code displaying as text “[break]” throughout every page of my site. GRRR!
The part about the short code that is really driving me nuts is, I know I had installed a plugin that was just for that only and I cannot find such a plugin in my installed plugins anywhere! I don’t know if it may have gotten deleted on accident or what (highly doubt it), but i’ve searched the internet relentlessly for a plugin that uses the short code [break] and I cannot find one anywhere! They all use [br]. Does anyone know which plugin this would have been?
Can someone please please PLEASE help me out with this??? I’m freakin’ out over here!
Thanks.

In reply to: How To Add Meta Tags To Blog Page?I would imagine the reason my blog page doesn’t have a title is because I leave the Site Title And Tagline fields blank in Settings->General. That’s because i’m using it as a CMS to engine my site (almost 500 pages worth) and it would be odd to have the blog’s title thrown on to the end of every pages title.
It really blows my mind that WordPress (which was really only intended to be a blog), doesn’t have a way right out of the box to ad meta tags to the blog. Pretty cooky…
I’m not sure what to do about this…
Thanks for your help, s_ha_dum.

In reply to: 301 Redirect ALL .htm Pages To .php Pages?BINGO! That worked! It didn’t at first, but I decided to try and delete my cookies and try again. That’s all it took. I would imagine the other codes I tried would have worked too, if I had done that.
Thanks for your help brother! >8>)

In reply to: Dropdown Menu Opacity Won't Display Properly In IE?I figured it out… What I ended up doing is just changing:
background:rgba(0,0,0,1.0)
TO
background:#000000;
It doesn’t have the nice rounded corners in crappy IE, but at least it’s a solid black background. Still looks perfect in Firefox!

In reply to: Dropdown Menu Opacity Won't Display Properly In IE?Thanks, vtxyzzy. I’m not sure how to incorporate that into my existing dropdown menu CSS, though. Any suggestions? Nothing I try seems to make any difference at all in IE… >8>(
I don’t even need any sort of opacity settings on my dropdown menu. I just need it to have a solid black background. But, I want the style to stay the same as it is now.

Any help you guys can give me on this would be hugely appreciated. This site will be going live within the next couple of days and this is a pretty big issue, as you’ll see if you look at the site in IE.
Thanks.
