Thanks for your help. Just changed the htaccess to what you suggested, but unfortunately the problem persists.
Right now I am using the Sight theme which I don’t believe uses TimThumb – I have experimented with a few different themes and the same problem exists with all of them. When you view any of the image files, they all work….but for some reason some of them just won’t load on the page, completely at random. One time they will…the next time they won’t.
