update…the solution is very simple, you just change your permalinks to “custom” and enter this:

/%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%.html

Worked for my, thanks andy! Now to figure out how to get the haloscan comments and blogger hosted photos..

Any update on this? I havn’t tried it yet, but how hard is it to just change the permalink option in wp?

Yes, that fixed the problem for me, double check the call and place it in the footer. Thanks to the person who clicked!

It looks like it should go in the footer, my old template had it there, my new templat edid not, and I also stopped getting stats when I upgraded.

The index does have a “get footer” call, but not the wp_footer as noted above.

Someone click here too, so I can see if my stats are now working (can’t genertae stats from my home computer!)

So you want to have your old name/date permalinks redirect to the new ?p=123 permalinks?

Personally, I think you should switch wordpress premalinks to a name based format, I think you get better SEO that way (not sure)
