In reply to: [Advanced Post List] Useful pluginThank you very much ??
@heathergm There were some extra tests to try and reproduce the issue you are having, and so far haven’t had any luck breaking it.
Currently looking for a workaround as a failsafe, but was curious if it’s possible to investigate what is triggering the issue.

In reply to: [Advanced Post List] Does the job… mostly.A recent update did fix the same issue you are mentioning, but if you are up to date, it’s possible something may be triggering the issue.
First impression, it sounds like the JavaScript file isn’t being loaded. One of the effects of that, is the options/link in the admin notice are only opening new pages; when it should be firing a JavaScript function.
Currently have been looking into the source of the issue, with no luck no far. Everything loads up as it should, and dismisses like it should.
Would it be possible to investigate this further with your help?
I would suspect it would be an issue with the JS not loading, but the intent is NOT to force you…
Try going to the Adv. Post List page, and dismiss the notification there. JS should be loaded there, but if not, then there may be something triggering the issue.
Not forcing you…dismissing it should prevent future notifications. Also be sure to have the most recent version of APL since notifications were just added.
Glad you enjoy the plug. Just hoped the experience didn’t cause a loss in rating :/

In reply to: [Advanced Post List] APL on searchresult-siteAPL wasn’t intended to work in that manner. It uses preset configurations. The plugin does have dynamic features, but it wasn’t intended to be used in conjunction to the search.php.

In reply to: [Advanced Post List] APL on searchresult-siteThe problem would be the slug name in the post list shortcode.
This will explain it in more detail. NOTICE: Post list ‘name’ does not exist or is invalid.

In reply to: [Advanced Post List] Excellent plugin! It’s always nice to see how APL has helped others ?? The plugin does have a sharp learning curve to someone completely new, but the more someone knows the better. Once familiar, the plugin does see an increase in productivity and usability. Glad to hear your readers enjoy as well ??

In reply to: [Advanced Post List] ExcellentWhat kept you from giving it 5 stars though?
Just genuinely curious, if any. Different perspectives help in understanding where APL could use improvement.
