It just separate tracking numbers out of the note and add a link to the carrier for tracking.
If you don’t use this plugin, the tracking number will go in the Order Note

Yes it send to Woocommerce Shipment Tracking section (top right) in the order. You should be able to see the tracking, also your customer received an email with the tracking

If you still using Woocommerce Shipment tracking, you need to remove it, both systems cannot work together. Otherwise, it will be difficult to troubleshoot why this is not working on your website when this is working on my test environment and this is working as well on Zorem environment.
