I instructed my client to use the “Paste from Word” function in the WordPress menu. Is this the correct thing to do? My client mentioned periodically another person enteres the post. Was the line 383 post perhaps entered wrong, and the person did not use the “Paste from Word”?

Yes. Unless your ISP is Charter Communications. In that case, they will tell you they don’t provide this information. They will say their job is only to provide hosting space.

What is the URL to your blog? What I mean is, does your blog have URL as an extension of your website, I.E. https://www.mywebsite.com/blog? Or is it part of WordPress, I.E. https://www.xyz.wordpress.com.

If it’s part of WordPress, you can just link something directly to that. Anything, such as “click here for my blog.”

If your blog is an extension of your website, you’ll need to set up a MySQL file. Some host companies allow you to do this yourself by logging into your site management page on their website. Others do it for you when you call the tech dept.

Actually, I’d like the word “comments” to appear as “condolences” on every post. The reader will then have the option of leaving a condolence rather than a comment (in reality, it is a comment, just labeled condolence)

When placing [show-ics-calendar] in a page you create it will show up as the text you typed in the both visual and the html code. You won’t actually see a calendar, which is what I was expecting.

You don’t see the calendar until you publish and view it online. Duh, on my part.

Anyone? Or do you know a source for such instructions?
