I am getting the same message on the same admin pages:

Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected. We’re backing up this post in your browser, just in case.

I tried logging out and back in and that didn’t help.

What is disconnected and how can I reconnect?

update what? to a static page? then there are no options for the normal home page. I need the content that the responsive theme offers on the original home page.

aaaawwhhh yea! So I needed to make a category.php template using the same as index.php only taking out the <?php query_posts(‘showposts=10’); ?> and using default permalinks, not custom structure.

seems to be working fine in firefox. haven’t tried other browsers yet.

Should it just be https://adubsdesign.com/blog/bmx if the category is bmx

It seems like the double url is gone at times but comes back randomly. I’m not sure where it’s coming from and my categories still don’t differentiate the posts like they should even when there isn’t a double url. esmi – you are very helpful , I’ve noticed you reply to a lot of peoples issues.. Just want to say thanks!! Hopefully I’ll hear from you again, or someone with another suggestion.
