Hi?@shubham0095,
Thank you very much for your helpful clarifications.
AdrienHi?@shubham0095,
Thank you. Please tell me if i understand correctly. (I’m using the normal shortcode, not the block).
If I have 300 events, and I set the limit to 300, it will show them all. Is that right ?
In other words, there is no maximum number of events allowed to be shown. Correct ?
Kind regards,Adrien
Hi?@shubham0095,
Thank you, I was already using the text module.
I now fixed it. The problem was the formatting of the shortcode itself.
I think there were some weird spaces/line breaks in it, and it couldn’t be read properly. I rewrote it, removes spaces and line breaks and now the limit attribute is taken into account.
One question, as we’re talking about that attribute :
What is the max number of events possible to show ?
And, is this dependent on the version of The Events Calendar plugin (free vs paid version) ?
Kind regards,

Hi @shubham0095,
Please see below, the screen recording you asked for.
As you can see, whether I set 50 or 3 events to show, it always shows 10.
I’m using the Divi theme 4.21 alongside WordPress 6.4.2.Could you please provide me with some help ?

In reply to: [Events Shortcodes For The Events Calendar] How to make the list look smallerHi @baljitdhanjal,
Thank you for your reply.
You mean making the actual description of the event smaller?
But what if I have long descriptions but still want the overall look and feel of the list to be small ?
Kind regards

In reply to: [Ultimate Member + WP User Frontend - Addon] Multilingual support ?Thank you Dominik for your answer.
I’m using Polylang for the moment and i’m afraid to use both translation plugins at the same time.
Sorry for the late reply.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Adminimize] Logout not checked but doesn’t appear.Additional info: even when i’m logged in as an Administrator, there is no “Howdy” message any more, only “Myname Logout”.
Thanks
Additional info: in the Post Form i’ve also added a language field, but whether the suer selects Tibetan or English, the choice of Categories remain the same (the Tibetan categories).
If i write a post via the backend though, when i select the language of the post (there’s an option thanks tot he Polylang plugin), then the categories from which i can chose are being modified accordingly.
Basically i need the same functionality in the front end.
Is it possible with Polylang? Or maybe with WPML ?Best regards,
Adrien

That’s very nice. Thank you for your answer.
And can i do other things in WP while having the backup ?
I mean, can i leave the UpdraftPlus page and go write a post for example ?Regards,
AdrienI’m marking this thread as resolved.
Hi David,
thank you very much for your fast and detailed reply.
Thanks to you, I now am much more aware of the situation.
I’ve used UpdraftPlus on several occasions and it really does a great job.
Now i’m learning that it’s even better than i thought. Thanks and continue the good work!
