    Hi webinarabic,

AdPlugg is a service. Registration is free and allows you to set up your own scalable, high performance ad server/ad manager system. We only require a username, email and password. This is so that you can log in.

Using your AdPlugg account, you can serve ads to any number of sites, schedule ads, create placements, rotate your ads, target ads, view sophisticated analytics, etc.

We’ve tried to be very clear that the AdPlugg WordPress Ad Plugin works with the AdPlugg Ad Service. From the first line of the plugin description:

The AdPlugg WordPress Ad Plugin works in conjunction with the FREE adplugg.com ad service.

You aren’t the first person to miss that line so no worries and please let us know if you have any ideas for how we can make it more clear.

There are dozens of stand-alone ad plugins for WordPress. If a stand-alone plugin is a requirement for you, please feel free to contact us for some recommendations.

Also feel free to try out the AdPlugg service, it’s free, offers a lot of features that you can’t find with the stand-alone plugins, and a lot of people really love it. Maybe you could update your review once you’ve used the service.

We would appreciate it if you would remove your review until you’ve tried the plugin/service.

    Thanks,

    Collin Krawll

    Hi,

I took a look at your site and your account and it looks like you’ve got it fixed. Please let me know if you are still having difficulty.

For others that come across this, please see the documentation for ad zones here https://www.adplugg.com/support/help/ad-zones and specifically check out the “Max Ad Count” setting.

    Hi,

I took a look at your account and one of your ads (the last active one) is targeted directly to the zone as well as to your placement – while your other ads are only targeted to the placement. The ads in the placement are set to rotate but since this ad is targeted directly to the zone, it bypasses the rotator. To fix, uncheck the zone targeting for the ad so that it can only make it into the zone via the placement/rotator.

Please let us know if this doesn’t fix the issue.

Sorry for any trouble, we’re working on putting in warnings for certain scenarios like this.

    Hi Kathy,

Sorry for the confusion. Your AdPlugg Access Code is not emailed to you but rather is available from in your account at adplugg.com. To get it, log in to adplugg.com and go to Download and then Access Code. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the “Get My Access Code!” button. Your access code will pop up. You can then copy it and then paste it into the AdPlugg Settings page inside your WordPress administrator.

This page has additional help: https://www.adplugg.com/support/help/downloading-and-installing/wordpress-ad-plugin

Please let me know if you continue to have difficulty or need additional assistance.

    Kind Regards,

Great suggestion! I found the site that you were talking about and it should be doable. We’ll put it on the list and will hopefully have the feature available soon.

    Hi texins5,

Sorry for the slow response, we haven’t had any questions come in through this system before.

Check out our Cookbook for “recipes” that show you how to configure AdPlugg to rotate your ads:

Please post back if you are still having difficulty.
