So here’s what I did Cais. I changed it to twenty twelve – logged out, back in, tried it to upload an image… it didn’t work. I then switched back to landscape and tried it… it worked. Something is going on – and it is “sort of” fixing itself when I deactivate/activate the theme – or in this case, switch out of it and back in. The problem is – I tried this MANY times the other day, without success. I’m not sure why it worked this time, so I am afraid I am not “fixing” anything since I do not know the source issue.

A while ago we had the “your site has been hacked” message on our page when someone went to search for it. I went through the necessary steps with Google and our hosting provider to have it cleaned up – including adding additional security, malware protection and scanning/clean up services. Since then, I have the issue we are discussing. I think it has to do with how/what my provider cleaned up.

Your thoughts – and what should I do going forward. I don’t want this to be a chronic issue.

    Thanks.

    All,

Whether acceptable or not – honestly, I am okay with sharing this post… Not sure that makes a difference… so NewYorkPost – you’re okay to participate…

Cais, Yes, I did follow the same protocol as prior to try to resolve this issue… I’m not sure what next steps to follow. I just want my photos to upload like they used to. If you can offer some assistance – I’ll need step by step help… I’m not a “professional” at this…

    thanks, Mary

Cais – I wasn’t sure if I should add comment here – or start a new thread. We have had this issue twice now (today being second time).

When uploading photos, I don’t receive an actual error – just the yellow caution sign. Even happens when uploading one image.

I worked with GoDaddy a while back 05/29, when this first happened, and someone was able to help me through it… We updated our plugins, made sure themes, etc. were current and all set. We had to deactivate and activate plugin to make it work. I can’t recall what was being done on their side – however, they kept looking to make sure it was updating on the hosting side (in my w-admin or content maybe?)… and finally it worked.

I am now having the same trouble again. I’ve tried deactivating and activating – and it still doesn’t work.

Help? My wordpress is current 3.9.1

Thank you so much in advance.
