Thanks for the help. I created the functions/widgets/alx-tabs.php path in the child theme, but it’s still not working.

I have played with different various of what to include in the alx-tabs.php file, even the complete file, but no luck so far.

It’s working again. My partner said the hueman add-on plugin was turned off. Not sure why it deactivated, but suppose I pressed the wrong button!

I was wondering if there was a way to delete the text, in my case “SALISH SEA PILOT” and replace with a small logo.

If not, your theme is elegant and clean and I can live with it just the way it is ??

Thanks. Hadn’t disabled the plugins, so did that. I had seen that page; from it I followed a link to the page I linked to above.

Probably a simple thing but I couldn’t find it. Eventually just moved the whole site to the root. It’s not what I wanted to do, but maybe when I learn more about wp I’ll try again ??

oh brother… Wait. Maybe the top left corner is blocked by a horrible ask toolbar that installed itself in chrome last night. Dashboard works fine in Firefox. My apologies….
