Well, I figured it out myself… Use the inline option on the header texts…Thanx again, but I seem to have figured it out!

    Hi there,

Thank you for your kind response.
I know now that the text will not be scalable 1:1 with every millimeter browser size, but will only scale on different devices.

Still one wish remains: how do I get the orange background from my text to scale exactly with my text? I don’t seem to be able to get that done…

Thank you again for your help!

    Regards, Arko

    Hi there,

Style 99 is added for mobile devices, so I don’t think that is the problem.
And the option in other settings is also checked.
I also selected style-99 for desktop, but if you than choose “do not display on desktop” the choice dissappears.

The static file you are talking about I do not understand?

It does seem to have to do with the cache, because when I clear it, the image is visible again. I use WP fastest cache.

    thanx in advance!

    Hi Kathryn,

Thank you for your reply. The demo doesn’t appear to be slow. I think the problem with my site is most apparent when you open different pages, or individual projects. The loading ‘dots’ are visible for some time than.

Several of my friends, whom I asked for feedback, have commented that the site is slow, so it is probably not my network.

Maybe it is my hosting or something, or maybe it is some plugin or script? I use png’s as images, but try to keep them as small as possible, but still look crisp on retina.

    Thanx!

That seemed to have worked! Perfect, thank you!

Ok, spook too soon…. I disabled the SiteOrigin plugin and just used a standard text widget, but the problem is back again..When clicking on the plus sign, the whole site rescales to 1/4. Maybe you can check again, I’ll make sure there is content in the footer…

    Thanx heaps!

Thank you very much for the quick reply. I am using a custom CSS plugin and guarding the lines i’ve written with my life ;). They don’t come easy for someone who doesn’t know any scripting at all.

Problem seems to have solved itself.. In between me asking and you answering I disabled all the plugins I thought I wasn’t using. Turns out I was using SiteOrigin Widgets in my footer. That’s why it doesn’t show anything now, I disabled the plugin.. But these widgets were also causing the problem, as they probably were a specific width, which probably caused the site to narrow when opened.

So now I am off finding an other way to style the content of my footer.

Thank you again for your quick reply. As soon as I can test it on an iPad, I will see if the solution to the other problem is working.

Maybe I’m pushing it, and maybe I should open another thread for this, but another tiny problem I found is that my projects (on mobile) on my frontpage, have a nice white border around it, but on the portfolio page, there is no margin at all. I would like there to be a border as well, any ideas?

Anyway, thank you again very much!

Thanx, too kind ;). On the homepage of https://www.arkovormgeving.nl there are two rows. The first one has one columns and the second row has three. As you can see the first row also puts the content in the first 1/3 of the row.

Website still very much in experimental stage by the way ??
