To change your header image: Go to Apperance, Backgroud https://yoursite.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=custom-background

Go to your dashboad/setting/discussion
https://yoursite.com/wp-admin/options-discussion.php
and uncheck Automatically close comments on articles older than 14 days
