Side note: It looks like even on Mashable.com, where the recommendations popup is active in the lower right, it says only a few people like articles they suggest when we know hundreds have liked them…

For example, on one page the popup said 8 and 16 people liked the two articles it suggested, but Mashable’s counter says 7,500 and 5,000 respectively like each post…

Does that make sense?

Right now it is saying “No recommendations for this website yet.” even though I have ~20 posts so far. Here’s a link to a post with the widget.

I think it may be theme dependent in which case I may be out of luck.

I’ve tried to find a plugin but I haven’t found one that let’s me include shortened links (from my Bitly account). Maybe I’ll try an OG tag plugin to control what to share, but I want to make one Twitter specific…
