don’t know if it’s ok i join this thread, am also getting the error establishing database connection with my site hosted with bluehost even though the credentials of my wp-config is correct i still get the error establishing database connection.

Looking through the wordpress support forum i discovered you had the error establishing database connection and it has been resolved, my dbhost, dbname and password are correct, my case seem similar to yours, how do i know if my database is corrupt and how do i move it to a new database, i am hosted on bluehost.
