Of course the plugin is inactive….SITE HEALTH deactivated it because of the error.

If I activate the plugin Site Health immediately identifies the problem and deactivates it.

It’s been over a week and this thread has made no progress in that time. The client isn’t happy and already looking at Spreadshirt and others…so don’t be surprised if you lose this particular PrintFul client.

No. The site was setup just a week or so ago and PrintFul was added and working.

WordPress was updated to 5.2 and Site Health notified me of the errors and WordPress deactivated the plugin.

How did you resolve your issue?

I only installed the plugin 3 days ago and I am using version 2.1.1 so I think I am on the current/latest version.

I didn’t rebuild but exported all products using the non-native plugin (!!!) and split the spreadsheet into the different categories so I could better manage the import process.

I then deleted all products in a category, deleted all but the original category/product images from the media library and then imported the category products from the spreadsheet (using the non-native import!!!) and repeated for each category. Everything is now as it should be.

I have already migrated and the nameserver change is underway – so everything is in order now.

HOWEVER – none of this would have been necessary had the native import/export worked correctly. So I am hopeful that the WC team will be fixing this sooner rather than later.

Last one for you today…I just installed Webtoffee’s Product CSV Import Export (BASIC) and tried the same 4 product import and that worked perfectly. It imported the 4 products correctly and used the same image….so no duplication.

Pretty clear then that the native export/import facility is the problem.

So I am going to export all products from the rsh123 dev site, edit the CSV, and then import to a test site to confirm no duplication across the 300+ products.

I’ll probably rebuild rsh123 into the test site as well so I have a clean migration file for Friday. That really sucks but that’s updates for you I guess…… ??

FYI – the test site (multisite, WC 3.6.2) Handpicked block OK, Feaured block OK and all products (after the import) – OK but duplicated product images…

So one ‘fix’ for me is to create a brand new site and import all my pages and posts, install WC and then those two blocks will work. The product import however requires an extensive manual edit of the database to remove all the duplicate images. Bear in mind it’s not just the duplicated main image it’s all the different sizes too. So where I should have one main image and say 3 smaller sizes I have 300+ main images and 900+ smaller images….

What do you reckon?

Yes I had previously deactivated all plugins except WC – and did again just now – no change, the blocks both say no products.

I created one product and copied the image URL and then updated the same small CSV file we used previously, ensured all IDs were removed and imported the for products. Import worked fine but I now have 5 products and 5 identical images.

So the import is definitely NOT working.
