Due to the number of separate share button sets present on the page, the Facebook application request limit is being reached. The solution would be to display the share buttons only within the actual post or to reduce the number of posts that are previewed on pages like this. Please let me know if you have any questions about that.

@sitescreeditor If you are referring to the space between the individual buttons, our share buttons are designed to have that space. If you are referring to something else, can you send an email to [email protected] since this is an issue unrelated to the thread? We will be happy to help you out there!

The expected experience when that setting is enabled is that the ‘more’ button will open https://s7.addthis.com/static/standaloneExpandedMenu.html. I have tested on my end and that is the experience I am seeing. Can you confirm that you are using the most updated version of the plugin? If not, can you update your AddThis plugin and test again?

I am not able to replicate the issue on my end. The expanded menu and the share buttons on https://www.loyalistcollege.com/our-campus/ are all functioning as expected on my end.

Can you try checking in a private window or in a browser other than the one you normally use to determine if it is an issue with your browser blocking the popup?

Unfortunately, due to Instagram’s terms of service, we are not able to offer Instagram on our list of share options. Instagram users are only allowed to post images owned by the account owner, meaning visitors to someone’s website are not permitted to share that site’s images without written permission from the image rights owner.

It may just be how the body of your pages is styled. You can add some css to your site to create more space between the buttons and the text.

For example:

.at-share-btn-elements {
margin-bottom: 30px;
}

The current status of this issue is that we were able to restore a subset of Facebook share counts and are working on a long term fix to restore the complete Facebook share totals. We understand that share counts are very important to our users and are hoping to have a resolution soon.

Due to a change that Facebook made to their API on April 18, 2019, all Facebook share counts were lost. We have found a way to temporarily restore a subset of Facebook share counts and are working on a long term fix to restore the complete Facebook share totals. However, at this time you may be seeing inaccurate or missing share counts while we work with Facebook to resolve this issue completely. We appreciate your patience, stay tuned for further updates!
