In reply to: [WordPress Share Buttons Plugin – AddThis] Position of the buttonsHi there,
Our buttons get inserted just before or after the content section on your page/post. If you’d like to place the buttons at a different location, I’d recommend trying our AddThis Website Tools plugin, which offers the ability to add shortcode to anywhere you’d like:

In reply to: [WordPress Share Buttons Plugin – AddThis] Number of page sharesHi Marc,
The share counts are based on the URL, so as long as the URLs remain the same, the share counts will be retained.

In reply to: [WordPress Share Buttons Plugin – AddThis] bug at post previewsHi there,
Thanks for reactivating the plugin so that we could investigate further. I looked this over with our plugin developers and found that this is an issue with the theme that you’re using. The theme you’re using is escaping the HTML comment:
<!– AddThis Sharing Buttons above –>and turning it into:
<!– AddThis Sharing Buttons above –>`Unfortunately, we don’t currently have any sort of workaround for this theme issue.
Hi there,
You’re able to select which buttons you’d like for the Sharing Sidebar as well. To do this, go to the Advanced Options tab within the plugin settings and look for “addthis.layers() initial paramater (json format)”:
https://screencast.com/t/a4vXiGD3GrmnUsing our API, you can specify which services you’d like to appear:

In reply to: [WordPress Share Buttons Plugin – AddThis] bug at post previewsHi there,
Sorry for the delayed reply, as we were off for the New Year’s weekend. I went to your site to investigate the issue further, but it looks like you’ve deactivated the plugin. It sounds like it could be a theme issue, but if you reactivate the plugin, I can take a closer look.
Thanks,
Matt
AddThis SupportThe buttons on the page you provided are from AddToAny, not AddThis.

In reply to: [WordPress Share Buttons Plugin – AddThis] showing wrong buttonIf you were using the default AddThis configuration it’s using what we call Preferred Services. These are different for each individual based on their past sharing history and what services are most popular in our service. This is designed to make it easy for users to share to their preferred service and to increase sharing.
Hi there,
AddThis will no longer show share counts for the Twitter sharing buttons, in preparation for Twitter’s API change.
https://twittercommunity.com/t/a-new-design-for-tweet-and-follow-buttons/52791We currently support share counts for the following services:
* Facebook
* Pinterest
* Reddit
* Delicious
* VK
* Linkedin
* OdnoklassnikiInstead of using the code:
<a class="addthis_counter_twitter"></a>
you’ll want to replace that with:
<a class="addthis_button_twitter"></a>
