Hi Danni, I want to change the three ‘featured images’ on the hompage, currently there at the bottom and dont know how to. did it once already and cant remember what i did. also when you scroll down you see words ‘proffessional’ behind them. Thanks

Hi I chANGED sidebar width from 305 to 405 and changed main blog from 580-480px and it still looks odd- the ad now is ‘in’ the sidebar, but I maybe need to change the background graphic?

Have now changed it back temporarily.

Hi, Thanks I’ll try moving it around., With the sidebar CSS, I did try changing the widths and my site went all strange, with the categories going right to the bottom. Know i wasn’t getting the numbers just right, but not sure what shopuld change them to to avoid weird stuff.

Thanks for the feedback. the stuff above the dotype in my header file is part of an ad stuff i run with an agency so i cant remove it.

With the CSS code, I dont have a custom plugin or child theme, Im using the DeskMess theme 1.4, what do you suggest I do?

I did install two plugins but then uninstalled and no change.. however it is now working fine again- very weird, but not going to complain, just worries it might happen again.

I’ve had a look at my theme and cant see any info about where it stores images, and I dont know what relative and hardcoded paths are.
It was working fine till 2 days ago, and I just want to get it back to there.

I’m not using any plugins for the thumbnails, have set them all as featured images- thumbnails further down the page in the tab recent posts etc have also gone missing. The theme is meant to grab the featured image and use that as a thumbnail.

Dont undertstand what has happened- what d you suggest I do?

Thanks again, the Twitter feed issue seems like it has fixed a few things, but still unclear on how to fix the HTML- would this be a widget issue? I used a default theme and a few plugins, all I wanted to do was change sidebar width., Irecently changed host- could this be part of the problem?

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, it’s really great of you.

I’ve removed the twitter widget now and hope that will make a difference.

So far it has in chrome- I can now click on post headers and go to read more on posts as well as use sidebar links to diff pages/ comments, so thank you!

I dont have Ffox so going to install and try that now.
