I decided to take a chance and changed it to back to postname. It works and nothing seems broken.

I manage to get through the consent screen. Turned out all I had to do is to make up a name and leave all other fields blank.

I tried again this time I left all the font settings in elementor to default. It works much better.

Thanks to your keyword tip, I learned how to create a placeholder menu item. There should be a clearer way to create a placeholder than typing a # in the link. End of gripe.
